causes. diagnosis and treatment and disseminating the useful results of
such research.
In planning for this year we have kept in mind our main objectives set out
in the governirrfJ documenu guidan(E on public heatth.
Shine BrKJht Foundation have o)ntinued our relationship w'th Navilas
based in Shawngton . A centre of ex￿llenCe in holistic treatments.
Th￿ treatsnents are there for people who have been diagnosed Of are
having ongoing trealment for breast caft￿r.
Reiki. reflexology and mindfulness are some of the treatments on offer.
We also provide a course to leam reiki up to level 1 to enable people to
self help after their paid for treatments have finished. This is proving very
suc￿Ssful and we are ft'nding an continued demand for our seNices.
All paid for by Shine Bright Foundation.
While our main focus is to raise money to provide these treatrnents
iocalty. do from time to time help people outside our area of Crewe
and Nan￿'¢h.
We are also well placed to offer grants to the Christie Foundation Trust
centre research deo Manchester headed by SaGha Howell.
We also promote self care Ihrough S￿al media.

were able to offer our tM)listsc treatrnents through our wactitioners.
We %%Ere able to fx)ntinue to proNlde our gift bags to any one going
through breast cancer...
These gift bags contain Aloe Vera products, T(J)th gel. Deodorant.
Moistunser. Antibaderial hand gel. Herbal tea and cosy socks.
We aim to send out 10 gift bags per month
We senl oirt 192 grfl bags for this year.
We are also wovidlng mastectomy plllows that slt under your arffl to
relieve any soreness or pressure lo that area vthere a person has had
surgery. These again are provtng io be vrarmly received.
Pan of the money we raise goes dlrectty towards research into triple
negative breasl cancer and other breast cancer related illnesses.
Lasl year y￿ were In the great posltion to offer £50.000 to Dr Sacha
Howell's team .An early detection breast cancer app..Due to
complicatt'ons that money didn't dear until this fjnancial year 2020121.
We ￿Ere very lucky lo have o)ntlnued supwrt via a few fund raislng
events and donalions. Ixjt there is still a considerable reducllon on
donations from the CoMd fall oul. As atways we are very hopeful thing will
change the betteF this following year.
