Introduction
I am delighted to introduce the annual report for Re:Dish and once again to be able to give a really positive message.
This past twelve months have seen an awful lot of work spread over all of our various activities that we undertake on behalf of all the people of Reddish.
I think it is important to say that as a local charity we have absolutely no political or religious bias we are here to serve our whole community and our volunteers come from all walks of life and from all ages and back ground. Our wonderful volunteers are our lifeblood and without them we would not be able to provide any of our services.
We currently offer a really diverse group of services to our community. This year we have continued building a reputation as a community space in our hub with a timetable of regular groups (adding Active with County and Crafty Women) and one off events (Men in Sheds art exhibition, cost of living sessions).
We have also continued to develop partnerships with other organisations to broaden our offer - working with Make a Difference on our Youth Group and Stockport County Community Trust on our exercise groups,as well as other organisations such as St Joseph’s school, our local PCSOs and Independent Options,
All our partners are listed in this report. We value our work with you, your advice, guidance, and sometimes your financial assistance, without your collective support we would find it really difficult to keep our charity moving forward.
As I write this introduction we have some really interesting projects in the pipeline which I would hope to elaborate further in next years report.
We never stand still we have much we want to offer our wonderful community and with your support and encouragement we will continue to serve for many years to come.

The group members have been on several enrichment trips including to St Annes, the Avro Museum and Museum of Transport. They were also hosted by Houldsworth Park Bowling Club.
Members also had visits from different organisations including PCSOs, Stockport Public Health and Pure Innovations.

The group are also exploring the possibility of running an evening group to meet the growing demand for the service.
Wellbeing
Crafty Women
Following on from the success of Banter & Brews we set up a free peer support group in Autumn 2022 for women to meet & socialise. This originally started out as Tea & Talks. However, several of the original attendees wanted to ‘do’ something and so the idea of a crafting group was born. Attendees can bring a craft, share a craft, learn a skill or simply come and have a chat and a cuppa.
The group has created decorations for shop window displays and more recently they have upcycled items that are then sold to raise funds for the group by selling them in the shop or at events.

In September 2022 we secured a venue in North Reddish Park for a youth group targetting young people aged 11-15. This weekly free group enables young people to take part in sport, music, arts & crafts and quizzes and challenges with food provided.
