**Objects:** THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN GENDER EQUALITY IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO CURRICULUM, ASSESSMENT AND EXAMINATIONS AND PEDAGOGY AND IN FEMINIST UNDERSTANDINGS OF, AND PRACTICES IN, GENDER AND EDUCATION.

**Activities:** We are a professional association for scholars and activists working on issues related to gender and education.  We support the organisation of an annual conference, have links to the Gender & Education journal, are developing a web and social media presence, and have funding to support networking and small pieces of research led by our members to raise awareness of key issues in the field.
