**Objects:** TO CONSTRUCT AND PROVIDE FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF A PERMANENT MEMORIAL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE NORTHERN BATTLE OF BRITAIN MEMORIAL, AT LAKESIDE, DONCASTER, THEREBY ADVANCING PUBLIC EDUCATION REGARDING THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN AND THE ROLE OF THE AIR FORCES OF GREAT BRITAIN, ITS COMMONWEALTH AND ALLIES IN PREVENTING THE GERMAN AIR FORCE FROM GAINING AIR SUPERIORITY OVER THE UNITED KINGDOM, AND ULTIMATELY, PREVENTING GERMANY FROM INVADING BRITAIN.

**Activities:** The Northern Battle of Britain Memorial appeal aims to raise funds for the construction of a memorial and educational facility dedicated to those who flew in the Battle of Britain. The Memorial will complement those on the Embankment in London and in the South of England. It will be located at the South Yorkshire Air Museum in Doncaster, South Yorkshire DN47FB.
