Summary of objects
The study, practice and encouragement of folk music in all its forms in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance or otherwise, including training and education of folk singers and instrument players, male or female, from all age groups and backgrounds.

Trustees’ Report – year to 31st December 2020
TwickFolk continues to involve itself with local community activities and initiatives in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
In accordance with our objectives, we offer regular performance opportunities to all members of the community, especially the young (under 25s), who benefit from generous admission discounts.
Due to the restrictions imposed because of the COVID pandemic, the club was closed and unable to operate from mid-March until the end of 2020.
Treasurer’s report for the year ended 31st December 2020
TwickFolk is run on a not-for-profit basis, by volunteers, in the Twickenham area.
Our income in 2020 was greatly reduced by being unable to open for most of the year, while some expenses were ongoing.
At the year end, our expenditure had exceeded our income by £251, so we made a loss. Some expenses for website hosting were outstanding - these will be reflected in the 2021 accounts.
Resources at the year end were £2,876. This is still comfortably above our target reserve of £2,000.
