The Medioliver Foundation is a registered charity. number 1.159,021. and operates under a consti-
tution.
The charity is constituted as a Charitsble Incorwrated Association and was first registered on 30
October 2014. The Medioliver Foundation (the Foundation) was formed in memory of Medi Oliver
Mehra. who died aged 11 on 15 July 2014 following a tragic horse-riding aC￿dent.
The trustees are family members. All trustees give of their time freely and no trustee remun8ratTron
was paid in the periixl.
The constilution provides Ihal there must be at least three charity trustees but there is no maximum
number. The constitution provides for appointment of trustees folk)wing a resolution at a propedy
convened meeting of the charity trustees.
Ob"ectlves and actlvltles for the ublic ￿nefit
The Foundation's objectives as set out in its consb'tub'on are to advance the education and health of
children and young people and also to relieve sickness and povety in the same group. Although not
so limited by its constitulion, the Foundation exist to advan￿ these causes in Ethiopia. Rwanda and
Tanzania in particular.
Achlevements
At the Irustees meeting on 22 February 2015. the trustees approved a policy providing decision-
making criteria to inform decisions about whith individuals. groups or projects to support to further
the Foundation's objectives vthere one or more options have been identrfied which could further one
of the objectives. In short, the crileria provide that the trustees will take decisions on which option lo
support givèn the resources raised and taking account the following.. geographical reach., impact,.
local need.. sustainability- direct control,. equality and risk. By the 28 August 2019 the Iruslees com-
pleted their firsi proje¢t which brought vRter. sanitation and hygiene to Gey Talt and Gey Shola's.
Ethiopia and was delivered in partnership with Intemational Medical Corps (IMC).

During ihe year time has been invested in preparing the website for marketing and creating a trade
campaign to get the book5 Out to generate monies via a long terni sustainable method. This builds
on the 1st
sel of 4 books bvritten. illuslraled and printed. The fomial launch is awaiting the 8 book
in the 2 series bul in the meantime samples have now been released to independent bookshops
and post fomial launch the Charity will start to use its li￿n￿ to sell on Amazon.

The trustees have. in making decisions about the Foundation'5 airns and objectives and in planning
future activities and setting the grant making policy. had due regard to the Charity Commission's
general guidan￿ on public benefit.
Financial rnvlew
The Foundati¢)n's wort( is reliant on ￿come raised fvnd-raising acti1￿tieS as well as other any
other donations receiN*d.
In the accounting pertod ending 31 March 2023 donat￿nS the charity was effectively domianl in
temis of active fund raising with the children's t￿0k project in the planning. test phase.
Financlal statements have been prepared by accountants LorHJmires Business Accountants.
The Foundation has HMRC recognttion as a chaiity gift aid purposes.
In th8 same accounting period no staff o)sts and ovethead expenses have been claimed.
Trustees have received no remuneration or expenses.
Currently all funds held by the chaiity are unrestricted genwal funds.
