The Beryl & John Trust Objects:
1. To provide or assist in the provision of facilities, within the Parish of Belmont, Hereford and the surrounding areas (the area of benefit), in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large with the object of improving their conditions of life.
2. Such charitable purposes for the public benefit, within the area of benefit as are exclusively charitable according to the laws of England and Wales as the trustees may from time to time determine

**Chair’s Report** Activities and achievements:
This year we have seen two changes of letting agents. The company we were with originally passed all their clients to a different agency, upon retirement, but after a trial period with the new agent we were not satisfied with the service provided and it was agreed that we should change to Sunderlands, a local company with good personal recommendations.
At the same time our tenants changed as well, and we had a two month period where our rental income was completely nullified whilst the house was being brought back to a high standard, and a further month in January when the same thing happened. However, we have also received almost £4000 in interest on our bank accounts during the year, so our overall income was £13563, our other repairs & fees came to £5,405 and we still provided £3,000 in grants (all grant requests were approved)
It is noted that our annual grant to the Country Park Supporters benefits far more people than just their members, as the work in the Park that our grant enables benefits a growing number of Park Users from the surrounding areas, and the grant to the Northolme Community Centre Association goes towards purchasing a gift for some 400 children each year.
We are also supporting a talented young musician who needs help with the costs of music lessons.
We are always seeking ways to publicise our grant availabilities. We have recently agreed to offer funding for educational school coach trips that schools might not undertake without our support.
