TRLSTEE'S REPORT FOR 2024 The Trustccs present Ihcir rcport and accounts for the year ended 31" December 2024. These financial slatements are prepared in accordance with the Trust Deed and the rcLommendalions of Ihc Statemenl of Recommended PTactic¢ - Accountin¥ and Reporting by Charitics issued in October 2000 and comply with applicablc law. Structure, goTr'ernance and management. The ihillity was r¢gistered 'Ith thc Charity Commission on 17 October ?014. Th¢ charilv is a Charilable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) and is registered charity number 1158979. Charity tru%tces are appointcd by members of Bcthesda Baptist Church. Objectives and actiiities. The objects of the charity are ( l ) Ihe iidvancement of the Christian religion and Chri%liJn faith (-) rclicf of poverty. suffering and distress in the community (3) the adi'ancemcnt of educalion and (4) other purposes beneficial to the community. The Tru.stees have paid due regard to the guidance issued by ihe Charity ComTlli5sion on publi¢ benefit and ha c StrIed to cnsure ihat the charitv s reflcct this. The main activity to achieve these objectii'es is the operdlion of the Key Café, which serve% meals and drinks to the general public regardless of Iheir religion or belief%. This is done within a Christian setting in which Christian literdturc is available and on display. The charity's premises hold events on a regular basis promoting the Christian faith. ThL cafe offers a frce listening setViC¢ to all membcrs of the public who are distressed or have problems that they wish io discuss in confidence. Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity tTUStees of the Trust you are Tesponsible for the preparation of the accoiinls in accordance with ih¢ requirements of the Charities Aci 2011 ('the Act,). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act. In carrying out my examination I have followed all applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. Independent examiner's statement I have COTnpleled my examination. I confTrnI that no malerial matters have come to attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any malerial respect= accounting rccords wcrc not kcpt in respect of the Twst as required by section 130 of the Acl. or 2. the accounts do not accord with those records.
