**Objects:** FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO ASSIST WITH THE WELFARE AND TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF ANIMALS (EXCLUDING BIRDS, FISHES AND REPTILES) THROUGHOUT THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND WHO ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILL USAGE, INCLUDING ASSISTING THOSE WHO UNDERTAKE RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES OR TREATMENT OF SUFFERING ANIMALS.

**Activities:** To assist with the welfare and to relieve the suffering of animals (excluding birds, fishes and reptiles) throughout the UK and NI who are in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill usage, including assisting those who undertake research into the causes or treatment of suffering of animals.
