Para 1.38 | We only invest in our own projects – we make sure that 100% of all funds are used directly on the project. Our work involves investing both money and time into our projects. Often, time is spent helping various young people achieve their goals and develop skills. In the past, we have invested in projects run by our team in India and in the young participants that we recruited to be part of the EU-funded social entrepreneurship seminar in 2019. |

Para 1.20 | We feel we have made a difference in many key aspects – 1) We have increased youth social action significantly. We have promoted the need to make a difference in the world amongst young people and pushed them to do more. We have even brought young people from different countries together to help them learn about each- other’s cultures and differences. 2) We have made a direct impact to numerous lives through overseas projects like the sports ground and our schools and also domestic projects like homeless drives, which we have carried out through almost all of our different branches. 3) We have empowered several privileged youth in developed countries to fundraise towards a cause that they believe in and given them the resources to do so. |

Para 1.21 | We have a small amount of money in our account which is currently used to cover overheads such as account maintenance fees and website hosting. In the future, we hope to top up this sum through donations in order to restart social impact activity locally and abroad. Some funds were used to purchase a new hosting plan as we migrated our website hosting to TSOhost. Some funds were put towards resources for our small homeless drive at the beginning of the year. What remains will continue to cover the aforementioned overheads until the balance is topped up again from a donation or cash injection. |

We make sure we have sufficient funds in the account at all times and do not attempt pulling off projects or fundraisers that are out of our budget’s reach. |

Para 1.23 | For the core activity of TYP to continue in the UK, we need to pass responsibilities onto new young people, either at school or university. This will give them a sense of ownership to maintain projects in the UK and work towards fundraisers for existing overseas projects and new initiatives close to their hearts. If this does not take place soon, the directors will no longer be considered young people and the purpose of the charity may start to become unclear. In the meantime, our current trustees are looking to fundraise from their own career activities so that money can be injected into the account for new social action projects that mobilise a new generation of young people. |
