The teachers provide meditation / mindfulness tips and techniques to the participants to encourage their own development through regular practice. Sita Devi Charity School-The Sita Devi Charity School continues to operate as a full primary school. During covid restrictions, primary schools were closed during most of the 2020/21 year and into the 2021/22 start. We were fortunate to continue to educate 70 students with 4 teachers guiding lessons digitally and from home. Receiving a well-rounded education based on the Indian national curriculum, complemented with daily lessons in yoga, meditation, 3 languages, Tamil, Hindi & English. Keeping this going during this difficult time has been a great feat by the administration and teachers of the school, providing much needed focus for the school children and making sure they do not miss their opportunity to grow in a healthy way and avoid the alternative of working in the fields all day with their parents. Healthy Food We support the Yogi Ashohkananda Fondations food program, here theprovide 2 daily hot mails for the 17 adults in need. They were selected due to their varying degrees of disabilities and whom are overlooked by the government food schemes and their own families and communities. We continue to directly support the daily food program |

This facility also provides oersight on the childrens ntritional needs. Covid Crisis Campaign This year we ran a special fundraising campaign, Help Indian Hospitals, in collaboration with Yogi Ashokananda Foundation to provide much needed medical equipment directly to the hospitals with the greatest need.
