**Objects:** TO PROMOTE THE REHABILITATION AND RESETTLEMENT OF OFFENDERS AND EX-OFFENDERS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN TYNE AND WEAR AND ITS SURROUNDING AREA BY SUCH MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION DEEM APPROPRIATE AND WITHIN A CHRISTIAN ETHOS.

**Activities:** The Shirley Community Chaplaincy( North East) helps,supports and encourages ex-offenders to integrate successfully back into society. We offer counselling,practical support and a range of activities to assist ex- offenders to make the transition out of prison.Activities include; camping,fishing, walking and visits to places of interest. Ex- offenders are encouraged to train as peer mentors.
