otherwise. Appointment of Iruslees is governed by the Trust Deed of the charity.
The Board of Trustees is authorised lo appoint new trustees to fill vacancies arising
through resignation or death of an existing trustee. New trustees are normally
trained for their tssks by existing trustees.

The advancement of the Jewish religion.

The organisation will benefit all those who wish to avail themselves of the
religious services both as part of its Synagogue and its other educational
services. The services provide public benefit as it increases awareness of
spirituality and the Jewish religion. 11 also provides a local focal point for
users to meet, study and attend lectures and Servi￿$. Activities are open
irrespective of the ability to contribute to costs.

Summary of the main
achievements of the charity
during the year
The Iruslees are pleased lo report a steady Increase in membership and
attendee numbers since services commenced. Regular daily and Shabbos and
Yom Tov services are held. The charity held a number of successful educational
and social programs during the period. The regular Kiddushim provide an
opportunity for members and guests lo meet in a cordial atmosphere and to
participate in the activities of the charity.
Donations in year were in line with previous years besides last year which
re￿iVed significantly higher donations due lo a one-off fundraising drive lo raise
funds for a new building.

Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of Ner Chodesh
I report to the trustees on my examination of the financial statements of Ner Chodesh I'the charity'l for
the year ended 31 October 2023.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the Iruslees of the charity you are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements in
accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 20111'the Act'l.
I report in respect of my examination of the eharity's financial statements carried out under section 145
of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given
by the Charity Commission under section 14515llbl of the Act.
Independent examlner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come lo my attention in
connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect".
accounting records were not kept in respect of the charity as required by section 130 of the
Act., or
the financial statements do not accord with those records., or
the financial statements do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form
and conlenl of accounts sel out in the Charities (Accounts and Reportsl Regulations 2008
other than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fairf view which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination lo which
allenlion should be drawn in this report in order lo enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be
