STAND - We Walk Together (Formerly Legs4Africa) - STAND partners with local entities to rehabilitate amputees in Sub-Saharan Africa by refurbishing and delivering prosthetic legs, upgrading rehabilitation centres, training prosthetic staff, and providing amputee led peer support, enabling people with limb loss to lead fulfilling lives.
Objects: The Objects Of The Charity Are:(a)the Advancement Of Health And/or The Relief Of Human Suffering; And(b)the Relief Of Those In Need, By Reason Of Ill-Health And/or Disability And/or Financial Hardshipby The Provision Of Prosthetic Limbs And Other Like Mobility Equipment (Which Is Collated In The United Kingdom And Which Would Otherwise Have To Be Disposed Of As The Same Cannot Be Reused In The United Kingdom In Accordance With European Union Law) To Individuals In Need Of Prosthetic Limbs In Africa Who Cannot Afford, Or Otherwise Do Not Have Access To, Such Healthcare.
