We employ Tina for 8.5 days per month to support the coordination of our fundraising activities, submit grant applications, manage our social media channels and website, and carry out a range of administrative tasks essential to the day-to-day running of the charity. She consistently seeks to enhance her knowledge and effectiveness in the role. This includes proactively identifying and enrolling in relevant free training opportunities, as well as developing her skills and expanding her professional network to further strengthen the charity’s impact and sustainability. We have now appointed a new trustee to the board who has a lived experience of being born with microtia. We have 11 non-executive advisors that support us with keeping up to date in the various fields of microtia, including: hearing technology advancement, ear reconstruction or prosthetic methods, psychological perspectives and understanding visible difference. Our partnerships with leading hearing technology companies Cochlear, Oticon, and MED-EL have continued. They have once again supported our London event, as well as contributing to our charity website and the production of key printed resources. We maintain close collaboration with them by sharing updates on their latest technologies and events with our wider community, helping to keep families informed and connected. In addition, these companies generously provide free merchandise and informational leaflets, which enables us to distribute valuable resources to families at no cost, further extending our support. We continue to maintain strong and positive working relationships with a range of partner organisations, including CSSEF, Auditory Verbal UK, Changing Faces, Goldenhar UK, National Deaf Children's Society, CLAPA, Face Equality International (which we proudly sponsor), and BATOD. These partnerships continue to create valuable opportunities for collaboration and shared impact. Similarly, we work closely with Centre for Appearance Research and Aston University to support and contribute to ongoing research studies, further strengthening our role within the wider community and evidence base. **TAR** 3 2024-2025 Secton C Objectves and actvites |Summary of the objects of the

food and a range of talks from medical professionals and those born with
microta to talk about lived experiences for a small free. Free tckets were also
available. The day was a success again, with hearing aid companies sponsoring
the day as well.
We held an aucton for a signed Chelsea footballto help raise money.
We atended the Natonal Acoustc Devices Conferencein October 2024. The day
was spent networking with other medical professionals and families.
Organisaton of the West Midlands Safari Park event for September 2025 began.
The plan is to have approx. 50 people atend the event.
Tina atended the James Lind Alliance Childhood Deafness and Hearing Loss
Priority Setng Workshop at Aston University.She has spent the day sharing her
lived experiences and our charity members' experiences to help shape future
research.
Charity members were able to come together in Armagh, Northern Ireland in
April 2025.The event was supported by Microta UK and the NDCS atended the
day as well.
Charity members requested local buildings to light up in orange in November
2024.A range of families volunteered their tme to ask local buildings to light up
in orange for microta awareness day.
The Microta UK website was contnuously updated,and we asked charity
members for new images to add to the website. The website provides free and
up to date informaton for people with microta. Sectons include about us,
hearingaids,inspiratonal life stories,and informaton about fundraisingevents.| **TAR** 2024-2025 4 Our Parents’ Guide was updated in 2025 and changed to a guide for all, not just new parents. Free informaton booklets distributed. This includes our Parents Guide and Reconstruction booklet, as well as our charity leaflets to help raise awareness and give support to families. We also provide a range of free resources from other places that will benefit our charity. Some of these are also downloadable from the website for free. Charity awareness raising merchandise distributed to raise awareness of the condition within the community and to raise funds for Microtia UK. The items also help to promote positive self-image (including car stickers, pin badges, books, teddies, clothing, Christmas cards, bracelets, trolley coins, bags). Virtual monthly meetngs with families and professionals contnued. Our monthly virtual meet continued, where families could come together to share stories, ask questions, get to know one another and speak with medical professionals. This has been a great success, and we will continue to do the virtual meets. Tina atended a Golderhar charity trip away to meet other families. achievements of the charity during
the year|Blue Sky CAD sponsored our charity again for 2025.The company director has
microta himself and is keen to support our charity which we are very thankful
for. This year, his sponsorship helped us to create new adult fundraising t-shirts,
as well as buying more children t-shirts and adult running vests.
We were able to obtain four charity places for the London Marathon 2026 and
for three years afer that.
Contnued support and growing as a charity.To help achieve this, we set up a
TikTok account to share videos to raise more awareness on the popular social
media channel. We also used Canva to create more engaging images for our
social media pages. We contnue to grow and develop every year as a charity,
supportng more families than ever before. We are keen to contnue reaching
more people by raising more awareness about microta.
Free informaton leafet handed out for new parents/carerswhich outlines
what to expect when you have a baby with microta and where to go for
support. Medical professionals also share this leafet with their patents. It is
downloadable from the website.
We contnue using all our social media accountswith a growing number of
followers. This includes the use of Instagram, YouTube, Twiter and Facebook.
We also set up a free 0300 charity phone number.
We contnued our link with Run for Charity to help us fnd new fundraising
events.Linking with them means we have less unflled places. Partcipants set
up fundraising pages which were shared on social media. We fully support
those who would like to fundraise or help raise awareness for our charity. We
give out medals / trophies to thank our fundraisers.
Daily support and advicefor our charity members. This is given through our
online support group, social media accounts, email and telephone. We also
have our monthly virtual meets which have been a great success.
We have received sponsorship from hearing aid companies, alongside
incredible support from individuals who have taken on a variety of challenges
to raise funds for us. In additon, we have benefted from generous one-of
donatons from companies throughout the year, as well as match-funding
