Meeting 27/08/20 Time 11:30am Conference call
The Craddock Trust
Items to be discussed
Two of the trustees wanted to discuss through the possibility of putting further funds into the charity in the form of a donation from their own portfolio where they have funds held externally in a cautious fund with PFM Associates and a cash donation of approximately £3k. We discussed through the donation and it was agreed by all this would really be most helpful and enable the charity to continue to distribute to charities at a time there is such significant need. A discussion with the trustees was had around the objective of the portfolio and whether a more income focused portfolio would be more sensible. We have discussed through the portfolio and a little about the characteristics of income producing and growth investments and it was felt that given we would then be effectively excluding some of the best performing stocks through the last 12 months and as such it would be more suitable to maintain the portfolio in its current investment strategy and then withdrawing an element of capital to achieve the necessary distributions to charity.
In summary it was confirmed there was approximately £175 in the CAF bank account and we would transfer over £3k in cash and a portfolio of about £32k. The funds shall be re-invested into the cautious managed portfolio once distributions have been made.
The trustees agreed the following distributions with the potential for additional distributions to be made later in the financial year.
