The Trustees who are also directOTS of the Charity for the pu￿oseS of the Companies Ac( submit their annual
report and the unaudited financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2024. The trustees have adopted the
provisions of the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) "Accounting and Reporting by Charilies" issued
in 2005 in preparing the annual report and financial statements of the charity.

New Hope Global is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of up to seven members. The Board of Trnstees
meets regularly to oversee the charity's activities, ensuring that its mission and goals are eificiently and effectively
met through strdtegic guidaDce and governance.

The operational activities of New Hope Global are managed by an Executive Coll]mittee comprising seven members.

ensuring ¢ffective impl¢mentation and PToper managem¢nt of the charity's initiatives. This structure ensures that N¢w
Hope Global maintaitis a robust governance frameworL promoting accountability, tr8nspaTency, and strategi
oversight in all its charitable activities.
The principal aim of New Hope Global is to empower the socially and economically disadvantaged BAME
ommunities in Birniinghan] and its sutTounding areas. We strive to enhance the Capacity and skills of community
rnembers, enabling them to better identify and meet their needs and to participate more fully in society. Our ultimate
goal is to foster a self-sufficient and inclusive community where individuals can thrive and contribute positively to
society.

addressing sickness and disability among BAME individuals.
4. Social Inclusion and Participation-
To create opportuntties for the BAME communities to engage more fully in social. cultural, and civic
activities, fostering a sense of belonging and active participation in society.
5. Support Services:
To provide a range of support service5. including legal advice. housing assistance. and language support, to
help community membcrs navigate and access necessary services and opportunities.
6. Community Faellities:
To develop and malntain community centres and facilities that offer a safe and supportive environment for
social interaction, learning, and community activities.
7. Charitable Activities-
To undertakc other charitable activities as deemed necessary by the organization, ensuring that all initiatives
align witb our mission to support and uplift thc BAME commullilies in Birmingham and Surrounding areas.
These objectives guide New Hope Global in its mission to create a more inclu5iv¢, empowered. and resilient BAME
communities. cnsuring that all members have the opportUDity to improve their quality of life and achieve their full
potential.

The trustees. who are also directors of th¢ Charity for the PUTposes of Company law, are responsible for preparing the
TTUStees' Annual R¢port and the financial statements in accordance with apph"cable law and United Kingdotn
Ac¢ountlDg StandaTds (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Pwtice).
Company law requires tbe trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year that give a true and fair view
of the stafr of affairs of the clwitable Company and of the iticomiDg resources and application of resources, including
the income and expendibjre. of th¢ charitable conjpany for th¢ year. In preparitig these fllwicial statements, the
trustees are required to:
Select suitable accounting policies and apply them consistently.
Observe th¢ methods and principles in the Charities SORP.
Make judgtnents and estimates that are reasonable and prudent.
State whether applicable UK Accounting Standards have been followed, subject to any material departures
disclosed and explained in the fllwicial statements.
Prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity
will continue in operation.

Respective responsibilities of the Trustees and examiner
The trustees who are also directors of the company for the purpose of company law are Tesponsible for the
preparation of the accounts. The trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 (2)
of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed. Having satisfied myself
that the charity ts not subject under company law and is eligible for independent examination, it is my
Tesponsibility to..
Examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act. follow the procedures laid down in the general directions
given by the Charity Commission (under section 145{5)(b) of the 2011 Act)" and State whether particular matters
have come to my attention.
Basis of independent eiaminer's report
My examination was cattied out in accordance with the General Directions given by the CRwity Conunission. An
examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts
presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts
and sceking explanations frotll you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undcrtaken do not
provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit. and consequently no opinion is given as to whether
the accounts prcsent a"l￿e and fair view" and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.

Accounting policies
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention in accordance with the
accounting policies set out below.
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with FRS102 Section IA - The Financial
Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland and the Companies Act 2006.
Cashflow statement
The Company has taken advantage of the exemption in Financial Reporting Standard No.1 from the
requirement to produce a cashflow statement OTh the grounds that it is a small company.
Incoming resources
All incoming resources are included in the SOFA when the charity is legally entitled to ihe income and the
amount can be quantified with reasonable accuracy.
Resources expended
All expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and has been classified under headings that aggregate
all costs related to the category, whcre costs cannot be directly attributed to headings. they have been
allocated to activities on a basis consistent witb use of the resources.
Turnover
Turnover comprises the invoiced value of goods and services supplied by the company.
