**Objects:** (1) THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:(A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN THE DISTRICT OF GLEADLESS IN THE CITY OF SHEFFIELD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY THE PROVISION OF A COMMUNITY LEADING LIBRARY AND ASSOCIATED SERVICES.(B) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN THE DISTRICT OF GLEADLESS IN THE CITY OF SHEFFIELD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINION BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID RESIDENTS AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACULTIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS

**Activities:** We are an Associate Library completely run by volunteers. We have a number of activities ie a knit and natter group, a golden oldie coffee morning, toddlers story time, a mental health group and a Russian speaking group who all have weekly meetings in the library.
