Section C Objectives and activities
Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
The objective of Stroud Handball is the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for the playing of Handball.

Stroud Handball Trustees have provided activities which have helped promote physical, mental and social well being through playing Handball. The club has run weekly Handball sessions which are open to all junior and adult members of the community and have welcomed many new participants over the course of the year.

In addition to the continuation of U14, U16, U19 and adult Handball sessions, we also started a new session for 4-6 year olds to begin to introduce basic fundamental movement skills in line with Long Term Athletic Development model.

Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
Restarting all of our community sessions, with very good retention rates for participation. The U16 girls team reached the National Final, losing on the day but taking the silver medal for the Championships.
We also partnered with a number of schools around the county, with 4 teams successfully qualifying for the National finals. One of the teams came away with the Gold Medal.
A number of youth players also earned selection for the Great Britain age group squads over the course of the season.
