CHRIST LIVING CHURCH TRUSTEES, REPORT The Truslees have pleasure in submitting their report and accounts for the year ended 30th September 2023. Th¢ financial statements have been prepared in accordanee with the accounting policies set out on pages 6 to 8 and comply with the Statetnent of Recommended Practice (SORP 2015) and the applicable law. CONSTITUTION ORJECTIVES AND ORGANISATION STRUCTURE The tNste¢s made the decisions r¢garding allocation of funds and activities. The Board of trustee5 is comprised of the Chaimtan. Sretary to the trust. and two other members of tNstees. The charity is independently constituted under a Trust Deed dated 1st October 2012 and is a registered charity number 1158562 on the Public Register of the Charity Cgrnmission for England and Wales. The objectives of the chartty &s set out in the DlaratiOn of Trust are.. (a) To advance the Christain faith in accordance with the StateTnent of Beliefs appearing herelo in London and the rest of United Kingdom and the world at large. (b) To relieve persons in conditions of pains. hardship or are ag¢d andlor sick within these Communities. (c) To promote and fvlfil other charitable purposes beneficial to the community- The Trust was involved in Christian outreach progrdmmes deSied to increase Christian awareness and spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These Christian outreach programlnes are organised locally in London and other Pl¢S explained below under our ecumenical links and relationships. CHRISTIAN LINKS AND RELATIONSHIPS Christ Living Church was founded and independently organised by Reverend Akindele Ogundayisi who had been the Presiding minisr and Genera] Overseer since year 2001. Christ Living Church has its Headquaners in London and been participating in worship with oth¢T chuh¢S in th¢ community during their anniversaries and crusade events. The Trustees are pleased to report that the Church continued to be su¢cessful spiritually by ministering to many people. The Church h&s improved in mernbership strength and is incre&8ingly achIng out to ihe community. ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE The principal activities of the Charity during the year under review are the advancement of Christian Religion in accordance with the Doctrines. Beliefs and Tenets of Faith &g laid down by Christ Living Church. These objecti& were achieved during the financial year through outreach prograTnmes designed to increase Christian awarene and spreading the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Trustees are pleased to report that the Church ¢ontinued to be successfiLI spiritually by ministering to many people. The church ha8 improved sn membership strength and is increasingly reaching out to the community- PUBLIC BENEFIT REPORTING The trustees paid due regard to the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit and advancement of religton through the following achievements. tOT&I Care and Counselli The ministerial team at Christ Living Church are well informed and committed to enabling the local community in Dagenharn and Barking to worship and benefit from pastoral care of the Church. This is achieved through wttkly counselling serviees awdilable to ally mernber including old people, single parents ?d the hopeless.

Evan ellgm glld Missions su rttsam The trustees of Christ Living Churth are Committed to inviting &$ many people as p¢)ssible to worship at their Dagenham Church hall, Essex. The invitations aTe achieved during the outings of the evangelical team who distributes Christian tracts and prwhed the gospel of Jesu$ Christ to members of the public. RISK POLICY ,The Trustees have assessed the major risks to which the Trust is expos¢d partiwlarly those relating to the operations finance and environment and are satisfi¢d wilh the risk management systems in place to mitigats the risk poSUre to the Charity. REVIEW OF THE FINANCIAL P The net incoming resour¢es for the year amounted to & surplus of £14,341 Iyear 2022 was a surplus of £9,W8) and ail of which are allocated to the unrestricted reserves of the charity. FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS PLANS The immediate coming years wÉll see a colltinued emphasis on achieving the tnain ¢haritable objects of the Church. There are concluded plans of the trustees to :_ (a) Sewre new places of worship where additional Christian outreach and 8Ctivities can be carri¢d out (b) Improve membership strength by ¢oordinating mor¢ ¢Tusades and prayer sessions (c) Improve quality of W0bIp through ÉliStruTnents of music, youth conferences beginging from fvture yeatE 2024.
