RELATED PARTY TRANSACTION RCCG House of Mercy Aylesbury 15 a parish of The Redeemed Christian Church of God whlch has parishes all over the world. The parish's relationship with other parishes is govemed by an Agreement for Comrnon purp05e5'. RISK MANAGEMENT The trustees have assessed the major risks to which the charity is exposed, In particular those lated to operation5 and finances of the charity, and are satisfied that 5Y5tems are in place to mitigate our exposures to major risks. OBJEcfIvES AND ACTIVITIES The prlncipal object is the advancement of Chrlstian falth in accordar)ce with the statement of beliefs of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, and the relief of poverty. To achieve its objectives, the church adopted the followlng strategies.. Runnlng the following weekly attlvities to fulfil its objectlve of advancing Christlan faith: Sunday moming and evening seNices Midweek home pastoral supporVBlble study groups Parent and toddler group Youth connett Women's fellowship Men's fellowshlp Sunday School In additlon to these weekly actSvities, we run other community based proJert in advancing our objective of preventlng of relieving poverty. These includes.. Training and developmernt seminars to support members and public ( eg managing your finances), Welfare support to members of the public through Food Bank vouchers and food parcel dlstribution, Career Development Workshops, Fundraising for other charities ( especially Internatlonal Aid, and Oxfam), and many more supporting affected by wars and natural disasters. Apart from its Church actlvities, the charity was involved in the following public benefits efforts during the year In reportlng.. Welfare support to member5 of the communlty through Food Bank vouchers and food parcels distrlbutlon. Households in our communlty benefitted from over 1,200 hot meals and 1,000 food parcels glven away by the charlty. The cttarlty provbded music trainlng centre and organi5ed practlcal tralning on musical equlpment, volce tralnlng, talent developments and concerts for the people In the communlty, The charity worked with young people in training in music, dance, creatlve writing and drama to provlde alternatlves to activltles at rest of thelr involvement in street violence and other antl-soclal behaviours. The charlty supported notable charltles such as Oxfam. It also contributed to dlsaster rellel around the world through Disaster Rellef Agencles In UK and SVG -Donation for relief. The tharlty organised multlcultural even In the communlty to foster better latIonShIp between members, and also to discuss toplcs botherlng on community development. We are very grateful to all our donors and most especlally Heart of 8ucks, Bucks County Councll, Clare Foundation and T09ka Limited for the grant5 provlded to fund some of our proj'ects, Your klnd support has Indeed gone a long way to put a smlle on the faces of users of our servlce ano also enabled us to serve our communlty better. Our efforts are geared towards supportlng the programmes of our local communltyi promotlng cohesion In our communlty, and Impactlng the Ilves of the young people and the elderly. GRANT MAKING POLICY The church supports visiting minlsters of the gospel both wlthln and outslde the Unlted klngdom. Support is also given to RCCG Central Office, World Evangellsm Mission, Festlval of Llfe and other RCCG programmes. The Church supports other charlties and mlsslonary that shares its objerts In the advancement of Chrlstlarn falth and ller of poverty. Included In the charlty's payroll are salarfes minlster seconded to work for a slster church. VOLUNTEERS The church Is grateful for the unstlntlng efforts of Its volunteers who are involved In provldlng servlces for the charlty. It Is estlmated that over 6000 hours are provlded by volunteers durlng the year. Lf this Is conservatively valued at £8.50 per hour, the volunteers effort wlll amount to £51,000. Page 5

BUILDING PROJECT Due to the expansion in the charity's activltles and involvement in the community, the charity secured a 10 year lease of Sunley House, Oxford road Ayle5bury. The property provides a 200 square Met of floor space adapted for use as a communlty buildlng. The charlty has settled Into Sunley House and the process have been very beneflcall to the charlty, We were able to run our food bank and other projetts for the beneflt of our benefbciaries in the communlty. We contlnue to seek for funders to help us wlth funds for our varlou5 projects. There were no major donations towards the bullding project Sn the year under revlew, but we note contdbutions from the followlng organlsatlons towards the bulldlng projert In the prevlou5 year. 2025 £0 £0 2024 £10,000 £4,412 Topkare Llmited Congregatlonal and General FOOD BANK AND HOT MEAL Durlng the year In vlew, our charlty gave out 1200 pack5 of hot meals and 1000 food parce15 to members of the communlty. As part of our commitment to the economlc growth of our communltyi we ensured that every items used in preparlng the hot meals and food packs were sourced within our communlty. Costco, Tesco, Farm foods, were patroni5ed along with other Afrlcan Carlbbean Food stores, The hot meals were prepared by a local caterer Omolayo Aklnsemoyin caterlng servlces. We wlll also Ilke to acknowledge the followlng organlsatlons that contrlbuted to fund ttre projett.. 2025 £13,000 £10,368 2024 £4,854 Éo Hearts of 8ucks RCCG Central Offlce RESERVES POUCY The trustees, pollcy Is to have unrestrlcted and uncommitted funds (free reserves) to cover 3 to 6 months of sourceS expended. They feel that thls would enable the current actlvlties to contlnue If therels any signlflcant drop Sn fundlng. It would obviously be necessary then to consider how the fundlng would be replaced or activitles changed. The present free reserve is below the policy range but the trustees are continuing to seek ad(Sitional funds for the reserves. PRINCIPAL FUNDING Funding has been provided malnly through tithes and offerlngs by church members and through donations. Pledges are also taken for 5peclflc projects. Charity law requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year. Under that law, the trustees have elected to prepare the flnantial statements in accordance with the United Kingdom Generally Acceptable Accounting Practice (United Kingdom Accounting Standards and applicable law). The financial 5taternents are required to glve a true and falr view of the State of affair5 of the charity and of the surplus or deficit of the charity for that period. In preparing the financial statements, the Direttors are required to-. Select suitable accountlng policles and apply them conslstentlyi Make Judgement and estimates that are reasonable and prudent; Prepare the flnancial statements on a g0Sng concern basis unless It is inappropriate to presume that the company will continue in operation. The Directors recogni5e their responsibilities to keep proper accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and enable them to ensure that the flnancial statements comply with the Companies Act 2006. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the company and henceforth taki ng steps for the prevention and detertion of fraud and other irregularlties. The appended flnancial statements have been prepared on the accrua15 basis and have been examined by an independent examiner, whose report is also appended.
