day running of the CIO and any Fundraising activities. This group consists
of Margaret Clement (Trustee), Rachael Peat {non-voting

The Policy and Procedures Committee includes the Management Group
and the current Chair of the Board of Trustees.
The Transport Group consists of two Trustees (Margaret Clement &
Darrell Johnson) and orE non-voting memberlvolunteer.
Square Peg has an ongoing relationship with Inspire YoLrth Arts, Cutture
and Libraries, special schools and the Youth Service, and provides
accessible transport to support various activities.

Ob'ectives and activities
The object of the CIO is to act as a resource for young disabled people
aged 13-29, living in Nottinghamshire or surrounding areas by providing
advice and assistan￿ and organising programmes of physical,
educational, and social activty.

During the period 18t April 2023 and 31" March 2024, Square Peg has
provided a programme of inclusive activities for public benefit.
Square Peg was also able to provide ac￿SIble transport to
Nottinghamshire County Council Youth Servi￿, Inspire Leaming,
Mansfield Town Abilty Counts Football Team and local special schools.

Our service is run entirety by the dedication and goodwill of our
volunteers. Square Peg currently has ten volunteers who provide
support to the charity alongside the Trustees.
Our volunteers are involved in numerous activities ranging from
fundraising to the driving and maintenance of the minibus fleet plus the
organising and supervision of activities.
The Trustees wish to fornally record their thanks and appreciation to all
our volunteers for their continued support and hard work.

Achievements and performance

during the year
Square Peg became a Registered Charrty in 2014 and has continued to
look for funding opportunities to support its activities.
The Management Group and Trustees continue to work together to
review and update Policies and Procedures to ensure the safe and
efficient running of the Charity.
The Two Left Feet Walking Group is aimed at young people aged 18-
30 and provides accessible transport to enable them to undertake
supervised walks on a monthly basis. The group was able to enjoy a walk
followed by Christmas meal at a local cafe staffed by young disabled
people.
The Square Peg Inclusive Dance group is aimed at young disabled
people aged 13-25. The group meets on Saturday aftemoons during
term time and are supported by volunteers and professional dance tutors.
The dance sessions have also created opportunities for the group to take
part in perfonnances in a local theatre and put on their own performance
to an invited guest audience.
A two-course meal was also provided for young people at Christmas
