property as a heritage •ssel. Thi5 was due to the property rneetln8 the deflnltlon of the 2005 Charitles SORP
for beln8 a herltage asset, notably that 7 Hammer5mlth Terrace Is of hlstorlcal and artlstk Importance and 5$
held to advance preser¥atlon, conSe￿allOn and educ8tlong1 objectlves of The Emery Walker Trust and,
through pvbllc access, contrlbutes to the nation's culture and educatlon.
The asset was thus brought Into the Charity records Iln the name of the TIu5L whlch is the company's
predecessor}, at Its net book value at l October 2009. It was and Is consldered irnpractlc•l to applv
conventlonal valuallon technlques to the property due to Its unlque nature. The asset Is not depreclated,
Thls pollcy and the asset value arlsln8 has been contlnued wlth the transfer of ihe asset from the Trust to the
company In January 2015.
Other than as set out above, the Inallenable ond hlstorlc assets of the Trust have noi been c•plt¥llsed or
depreclated as no rellable value can be attrlbuted.
