Hope Church has had a very interesting and dynamic year serving in the heart of the community from and around our Church home in the centre of Marshall’s Yard, Gainsborough.

We’ve experienced a good upturn in numbers across all of our groups, especially our Sunday Morning all age worship service post Pandemic. We have work hard to make sure we show our heart to the local community in difficult and changing times.

Our Tuesday Hope Kitchen continues to offer warm food alongside a snack and drink – all provided for on a donation basis. This continues to be a valuable outreach to those with a great physical need in Gainsborough.

Our Sunday morning services are going really well and our weekly content is uploaded through social media and YouTube. We send out mailshots to our Church family and this continues to help build further, lasting bonds with those involved with the Church.

The Virtual Sunday Service focuses on the good news of Jesus Christ allowing those in our community who struggle to get to Church physically for various reasons, remain connected and engaged.

We also run a mid-week Bible study during term-time which gives everyone the opportunity to explore and discuss the Bible in a nonpressured format.

As a Church we continue to offer food parcels to those who are extremely vulnerable or in need. We asses each person on a caseby-case basis and endeavour to help in some way whatever their situation even ‘signposting’ to more specific services within the local area.

Our Friday Hi5 sessions have begun to gain traction again post pandemic, we are starting to see regulars again which is fantastic. This continues to be a great place for local parents and carers to enjoy a safe and relaxing atmosphere while the kids play and friendships are built.

God has tremendously blessed the Hope Church Gainsborough family and we have seen impact and growth again this year.

We continue to remember that Jesus is our Hope no matter what comes our way.
