SID in Sunderland is a ground-breaking project that aims to tackle the issue of social exclusion because of dyslexia
Objects: The Promotion Of Social Inclusion Among Individuals With Dyslexia Who Are Socially Excluded From Society, Or Parts Of Society, As A Result Of Being Dyslexic By In Particularly, But Not Exclusively:1. Providing Education And Information To Support And Enable Individuals With Dyslexia To Maximise Educational Opportunities For Their Children;2. Raising Public Awareness Of The Issues Affecting Individuals With Dyslexia, Both Generally And In Relation To Their Social Exclusion;3. Providing Educational Activities, Forums, Advocacy And General Support For People With Dyslexia Who Are Socially Excluded;4. Providing Recreational Facilities And Opportunities For Individuals With Dyslexia Who Are Excluded Socially.
