These continue to place emphasis on making the arts accessible to all, but also includes a dedicated focus on disadvantaged groups, including schools with a high pupil premium.** **As a result, DAF now has partnerships in place with Burnage Community Centre, Westcroft Community Centre, Burnage library, and multiple primary and secondary schools in the area.** **There was concerted effort to recruit trustees with the skills and competencies needed to deliver this vision.** **Planning for the 2026 festival began with applications to funding bodies and trusts including Arts Council England, Benefact Group and local Neighbourhood investment funds.** **To launch our new vision, DAF held its first ever Didsbury Summer Open, celebrating artistic talent from Manchester. The high quality exhibition was well received and provided a vehicle for communicating the charity’s vision to artists, potential sponsors and donors, community groups and the public.** **On the strength of this activity, DAF held a series of classes in the Spring and Winter Seasons to raise funds and reach more local people.
