## **’ – CHAIRMAN S REPORT 2020** 

Like everybody this year, the Society has had to cancel the Annual Eastrington Agricultural Show for 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 

The Annual Dinner Dance was held at The Eastrington Village Hall, in November 2019. It was well organised by Emma Gamble & Maria Sissons. Attendance was very good and a good evening was had by all! 

It was a great pity that the 2020 Eastrington Agricultural Show had to be cancelled, but the decision was made for the Committee by the National Lock-down, so we had no choice. All were disappointed. 

The accounts show a small proift this year, which was entirely due to the funds raised at the Dinner Dance. The Committee continued to meet via ‘Zoom’ to discuss the plans for the 2021 Show. 

My thanks go to all the Committee for working so hard on behalf of the Society and the Show.
