Bulldingfor Peace Duringthe yearwe continue to meet at the Dor Kemmyn Field (see details above) around ourfaith poles. These poles make a conspicuous presence to passers by and we are shortly having 2 notice boards erected giving information about the Cornwall F8ith Forum and the poles. Moving forward a suggestion has been made of erecting a Gazebolsummerhouse construction e.g. view here: https.'/l_wvvw.crownp.avilions.coml Although smaller than our proposed DK Oval, it could provide shelter and the costfeeis as if it could be achievable. We have yet to ask th8 Penmount staff whether theywouid approve of such 8 Structure. AY asked the meetingwhether this was an idea that would be favourable. All those present agreed that this would be a w8y foNard and were in agreement with this suggestion. AY will now set up a task and finish group to proceed with this idea, subjectto agreement of Penmount staff. Learnlngfor Peace The contract for our Inter Faith Education Co-ordinator had to be ended in August 2024 as the funding ran out and we were not able to secure another grant to extend the work. In the year an Inter Faith Workshop was run at Penclenick Special School and this was much appreciated bythe school-staff and pupils. Currentlywe are undertaking online Faith literacytraining for Cornwall Council staff. KP 81so kindly met with the Little Harbour. St Austell to provide training for working with different faiths.
