COP 21 WalK I￿ wM- A walk wa5 held in the Kermyrt. Truro vianity with an environment
theme fo¢usin8 on the forthcoming COP26 taking place in the Autumn. There were two
oups of six part10pati￿ The walk commenced atthe Brave ofJDseph Emity at Kenwyn
Church and progressed down the valley onto the outskirts of Truro. The weather was
beautrful. Reading5 regardlng the envtronment We￿ given from the different faith
communit*s at various stCP5 al0￿ the walk trail.
StorTrtelN￿ event for Arnfve￿ry of flrst Race Amlty evert 11 September 2021-
This event was led by Philomena Cllfford from the Baha'i faith in commemoration of the
100 anniversary of the first R￿Arnity evenL Stories frorn the participating faith
communitie5 were told on the theme of reconciliation and there were 3 variety of storle5,
some personal and some related to individual faiths. It was felt thls was an excellent event
by all those who took part.

IJJ) advised that the event was a Collat￿tIOn with Kehlllat Kernow and CFF and is part of
the European Days of Jewlsh Culture and Herita8e. The theme wa5 dialogue and the toplc
between the faiths was the conception of the dI￿ne. Four dtfferent falths were represented
and the speakers were from the Jewish, Musllm. Chrlstlan and Buddhist faiths. It was
pleaslng that there was a good attendance at the event. It was feh that the speakers were
excellent and a good spirit of sharin8. There were good and respectful Questions from the
audience. It is hoped thatthere wlll be a second event of a slmilar vein to be held In
Februarylmarth 2022 wfth speakers from the Baha'i, Hindu and Pa8an farth communftles.
Bulldlng lor Peace
RS reported the during the period ol lockdown once the re#rktlons all¢)wed that prayas
were sald at the DKO field by the l>)me of Human Kindness. These were held on Thursdays
at l.CKI pm. She felt that

a Hawthorne t￿e by the Christian faith community. The second was a replacement for the
Hindu tree whtch had sadly been eaten ty the deer. A recording of a chant by Yoti wa5
recorded and played by the new tree whith was special. li was noted that we have been
plantln8 trees for seven year
In 2022 we will renew our commitment to meet at the DK fiekl monthty to COFnmemorate
various eventslfestivals etc
Le•fnlng for Peace
RS advised that tt has been thfficult to plan visits to sthools owing to Covid. Several vi51ts
had to be cancelled owin8 to the prevalen￿ of Covid in the school.
RS was pleased to advise that the CFF have been successful in receivlng funding from St
Luke's for a project called This time tomorro￿. The projert will comprise recording

Kehelliat Kemow, Falmouth Unl¥￿sIty and SACRE. Last yeèrtwo animations had been made
by the students conceM￿6 the surwval of Blanka (mother of Kehelli* Kernow member
Cynthia Holllngsworthl who survived Auschwitz. IRS) advised that Cynthia Hollingsworth
and herselfare now working with two groups of * year students on new animations about
the Ilfe of Blanka's lamlty before World War 2. These wlll fomi part of a secondary school
pack and wlll be launched in summer 2022. A teather syinposium will be hdd on 8 June
2022 at Falmouth Univer51ty.

persecution whlch he led, that the UK Freedom of Religion and Belief IFORBI Forum has been
