Ob'ectii'es and activities
Objects of the charity: For the benefit of Ihe public; lo relieve the suffering of horses in need of care and attention and,
in particular, to provide sanctuary for retired, abandoned, mistreated or lost horses in the Swale area. To educate the
public in matters pertaining to horse care and welfare in general and the preveniion of cruelty and suffering among horses.
Main activities undertaken for Ihe public benefit:
The rescue and rt-homing of abandoned and mistreated horses
Ongoing infornialion advertisement on local radio
Fund raising via bool fairs, e-bay and FaceB8￿.
During the winter moi)ths, del ivery of feed5 and hay for those people unable to access Iheir nornial roule lo
fields due lo miiddy condilions iii order to ensure their horses were fed
Horse box used lo move horses. free of ¢har8e, to new livery yards where no other transport available
When planning Ihe aclivilies for the year. the Irusiees have complied with the duty in Section 4 of ihe Charities Act 2011

Achievements and Performance
The main achievements of the charity during the period were..
Continue to provide long term accommodation for 3 retired horses in Wale5, including vets bills, medication and special
feed.
Post the COVID-19 Pandemic. other charity work has been mirkimal.

Financial Review
General: The full financial results are sel out on pages five to seven. In summary the total receipts froni all sources
amounted ¢0 £5,696 and total payments amounted to £5,726. This resulied in an excess of payments over receipts on
unreslricted funds of £30. The nel unrestricted funds of the charity stand at £Nil as at 31 st March 2024.
The principle sour¢es of our funds are donations from one of our trustees and from Ground Reaction Limited. We also
receive regular donations froni those who use our field for their horses.
All funds received have been used to look after the horses in our care. covering housing, food and medical Costs.
Re5erve5 Policy.. Our poliLy is lo hold sutTicienl reserves lo sustain the charity should our income fall below expe¢t¢d
levels. any excess being used to further the cliarity's ¢Lirrenl objectives.
