The Trustees, who are also directors for the purposes of company law. have pleasure in presenting their report and t
financial statements for the charitsble company for the year ended 31 March 2024. The Trustees have adopted the
provisions of Accounting and Reportin8 by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing
their accounts in accordono with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland IFRS 102)
(effective l January 20151.
OBJECTIVES AND AcllviTIES
The Charitws objertives are specifically restricted to the following:"

ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
AchI￿eMents and Performance during the period:
We have continued to malntain good connertions with schools in the local area working with them to provide youn8 people
with a safe and welcomin8 environment in which to play sports and take part in healthy recreation. The club ts continuin8 to
work toward5 taking over the local communÈty centre under the government's asset transfer scheme for the purpose of
providing and artively promotins sport and recreation facilities for the benefit of the residents of Jarrow and the surroundln8
areas. We have increased the current user groups afKI are currently developing new partnerships with other sport orientated
groups to widen the facilrties on offer as well as ProV￿1n￿ an informal meetin8 area for local residents.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
The total income recelved in the period was £79,054. Costs of generating funds on governance and charitable activi￿e5
amounted to £78.C68. The Reserves stsnd at £56.267 at 31" March 2024.
Reserves Policv
The Tru5tee5 have the power to invest any fund not required for immediate use on depostt or invest as they see fit. The
Trustees. policy is to maintaln a level of reseThes which will provide a stable base for the charitable compan￿$ contlnuing
activities while at the same time ensurin8 that reserves are not accumulated. Some reserves are restrlcted in their use.
This report has been prepared in accordance with the special provisions relatin8 to companies subject to the small companies
regime within Part 15 of the Companies art 2(Kl6.

Charity Commi55ioners for En8land and Wales as Charity No. 1158169. The company is limited by guarantee governed by Its
Memorandum and Articles of Ass(Kiation. The company was fornied following the conversion of the company Isame namel
Industrial and Provident No. IP23619R into the charitable company following a special resolution dated 12 Ortober 2013.
Recrultment and appolntment of trustees
Trustees are Selected to 8ive an appropriate range of skills and experience and are recruited by personal contart. The trustees
have the interests of the Charttable company's objecrives at heart. All trustee5 are made aware of governance information
produced by the Charity Commission which outlines their responsibilities as a Trustee.
The Trustees Confirm that they have complied with the duty in section 4 of the Charities act 2011 to have due regard to the
Charity Commission's 8eneral guidance on public benefit.. 'Charities and Public 8enefiY.

Funds held by the charltable company are:
Unrestrirted funds.
These are funds that can be used in accordance with the charitable companfs objects. at the discretion of the Board.
Restricted Funds
These are furKls that are used solely as designated.
Incomln8 resources
All incomin8 resources are included in the statement of financial attivities when the Charity is entitled to the income and
the amount can be quantifsed with reasonable accuracy. The following specific policie5 are applled to particular cate8ories
of income: Any Income from fund raising is shown gross. Bank interest is recognised on a receivable basi5. Donations and
grants are included a5 incoming resources when the charitable company ha5 certainty of entitlement to the Income and
the amount can be quantified w¥th reasonable accuracy. Entitlement is the earlier of the charitable company bein8 notified
of an Impendlng donation or grant or the funds being received.
Resources expensed
Liabilities are rec¢>gnised as resources expended when there is a legal or constructive obligation committing the Charity to
the expenditu￿.

The Costs of Generating Fund5 represent all costs necessary for the fund raising to be achieved.

The Charity's liability is Ilmited by the guarantees of its members. Each member has agreed to accept a liabillty of an
amount not exceedin8 £1, Should the charity be wound up. At 31" March 2024 the total of such 8uarantee5 amounted to
£65.
