Activities
A social charity mainly aimed at older men. The activities are of a practical nature mainly centred around making and repairing things out of wood. The charity brings together men who have time on their hands and it helps men avoid loneliness, boredom and gives them a sense of purpose when they collaborate on making various things for the local community.
Objects: To Promote Social Inclusion For The Public Benefit Of Men, Living In Shropshire, In Particular But Not Exclusively Older Men By Preventing Them From Becoming Socially Excluded, Relieving The Needs Of Those People Who Are Socially Excluded And Assisting Them To Integrate Into Society Through The Provision Of A Premises In Which Men Can Meet Jointly Or Individually Undertake And Share Creative, Physical, Social And Recreational Activities Of Their Choice, Including The Sharing Of Meals.”
