Para 1.38 Contribution made by volunteers Other Achievements and Performance SORP referen Demand through the food bank remained at record levels during the first half year as we continued to serve the community each Monday, Tuesday and Friday. We fed almost 3000 adults and children with 20 Tonnes of food. Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifylng the difference the charity's work has made to the circumstances of its beneficlarles and any wider benefits to society as a whole. Pard 1.20 Receipt of food has increased during the year meanlng we have purchased less directly from superniarkets. During the year, our local authority advised us that the building we occupied would be demolished to make way for re4evelopment This news was the focus of trustees during the last six months. We now have been re-located. However, we have noticed that client footfall has declined as we all try to settle down followlng thls massive shock. Our new location offers enormous opportunitie5 to serve and this will be high on trustee "to do" list Currently we are working on a problem where DWP is suddenly not able to produce food vouchers owing to GDPR regulations. This means that clients present with a general letter signposting their clients to us - no name, no crisls, no addrèss. Food Banks alike will now be forced to deterniine whether Glients are truly in need. As a client-focussed organisation we shall ensure that we serve them to the best of our ability during the coming year.
