THIS WILL BE BASED ON THE CONTEXT OF SELF-CARE, WHICH CAN BE DEFINED AS THE MAINTENANCE OF HEALTHY LIFESTYLES AND ENCOMPASSES THE CONCEPTS OF HYGIENE (GENERAL AND PERSONAL), NUTRITION (TYPE AND QUALITY OF FOOD EATEN), LIFESTYLE (SPORTING ACTIVITIES, LEISURE ETC), ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS (LIVING CONDITIONS, SOCIAL HABITS, ETC.) SOCIO-ECONOMIC FACTORS (INCOME LEVEL, CULTURAL BELIEFS, ETC.) AND SELF-MEDICATION.

**Activities:** The objects of the ISF are the relief of sickness by the promotion, preservation and protection of health based on the context of self-care. ISF?s core strategies are 1. Helping to develop evidence-based self-care concepts, practices and policies and 2. Helping to promote the role of self-care in health.
