2025 Report nother year has gone by and I'v8 8ntered my 1 Oth year h8r8 as senior Pastor but things are not the sam8 as oth8r years a lot has Ghanged and all i trust for the Good. After my tim8 in Kenya in 2024 i felt God telling me that it was time to spread out and do more. Over th8 last 4 years our evangelism has been to work in our feeding Program, which still goes on and many lives ar@ being bl@SS8d ,But God would have me start up The prayer meeting and bible study upon the night that some of the church family had got together for prayer via Z¢)Jm in the past . I didn't know what sort of response i would get as i was asking people to com8 out of their wami homes and meet in the church. i n8edn't have worried for God new that our time together would become such a special time. Gathering around the word of God in an atmosphere of easy conversation we would b8 able to discuss the chapter as we read it. Other thing have changed our Sunday school now has two designated young people who are on fire for God to help instruct our children. We might not hav8 many bLrt what they lack in numbers the make up for in enthusiasm. I have draw together three individuals who have th8 ability to b6come spiritual leaders looking after the spiritual life of the church along with myself, i guess they are ministers in training. We have also started a mens and women group that is a spiritual time around the word. As i at the moment run the mens i take our group up to a local food establishment and have breakfast and then in the restaurant we have a bible study for all the people to see. We are taking th8 word of God out into the community. During this year also we have had a film week in October were the films We meant to cause a reaction in the lives of the people that came. Everyone that came said that they got something out of the films although we saw no souls saved we are trusting that God would undertake. During this year we had several open air services one was a shipwreck servic8 where there were no song books or bibles and we had to hold a service as we were on the beach this was an ice breaker for our next open air service which wa3 to be a come as a bible character and i lell you there were some wonderful charact8rs. our final open air of the year was th@ Tuesdays before Christmas wh8n we run our carol s8rvice again as we had it in the church we did it in the cold December night. Afterwards a man you lived in the road opposite cam8 to thank us for making his Christmas, h8 w8nt out into his garden and heard Christmas carols being sang and he thought he was tripping for now one come out singing Christmas carols anymore. What a blessing that was to hear and it wami our cold heart to know that our testimony had touched someon@s lif8. This year we have stepped out of our comfort zone and God has blessed us. What will happen in the next year we will have to wait and s88 bLrt this thing we know we wonl b8 going baGkwards. Our saviour is the captain of our should and where he leads w@ a about to follow. We Have also started a youth ministry youth drama and a youth Club all aimed at reaching out to the young people in the area tHis is headed up by Joe one of our ministers in training. Rev Graham George The Poppy Club 2025 The Poppy Club is a craft club, meeting every two weeks throughout the year. We meet on Friday mornings, 1 Oam-11 .30am in The Glyn Edward's Hall at Acocks Green Baptist Church. Refreshments are served. 10 people on average attend. We take part in different arts and crafts including knitting, crochet and sewing. We share projects, support charities and fundraising within the church. We aim to support the ndS of people within our local community.
Our projects this year.. Making a daffodil net for display in church at Easter. Knitting gloves, hats and scarves for the homeless. Prayer angels to give out at the local carnival. Baby clothes for premature babies. Making toys and gifts for a local children's Christmas charity. Fundraising for cancer research and church building fund. Participating in church Mother's Day service. Involvement in church giving service. We finish each session with a reading and prayer. Sharon Lee Cup Of Falth 2025 Cup of Faith is a ministry group for ladies. We meet every last Saturday in the month, 1 Oam- 12noon, in The Glyn Edward's Hall at Acocks Green Baptist Church. Refreshments are provided. We started the group in September of this year and we have 9 people attending. Our aim is to.. Share scripture, prayers and fellowship Support, growth in faith Strengthening relationships. We have been looking at Women of The Bible Wk 1: Being a Godly woman Wk 2: Eve Wk3: Mary We have looked at the word of God, taken part in cieative activities, worshiped together in song and prayer. A WhatsApp group has been set up for in between meetings, offering fellowship support, prayer requests, scripture quotes and a weekly prayer topic. Sharon Lee. Good afternoon Pastor. Last year, the Sport Ministry session engaged the total of 15 people, 3 adults and 12 young people, 14 males and 1 female. The session has an averaga attendance of 8 people. Th6 youth club session engaged the total of 55 young people, 32 males and 23 females. The session has an average attendance of 25 participants. The youth dance session engaged the total of 34 young people, 5 males and 29 females. The session has an average attandance of 20 participants. Joe
SUNDAY SCHOOL Joe and i have taken on the responsibility of delivering the sunday school and at first this was a challenge but after 1 year we are seeing how our nucleus of children have changed and grown over this year. We started our studies in Genesis and we have had a fun time learning what the bible has to say about the beginning of time. We have on average 6 children of all differing ages but together we are learning as we grow. Our Children are reaching out to others and have brought their friends to the group also. We are looking fomard to the new year which has already started with great excitment. Hennesha

Year ending 31 st December 2025 I have reported to the trustees of the Acocks Green Baptist Church after examining the year end accounts of December 2019.
