REPORT FOR 2023 Letter from tho minlstsr. At the beginning of the year i gave the church a chailènge to see rf they could increas8 th8ir number although this was undertaken it was not by many EyJt the growth is always welcome. During th8 year w8 hav8 lost a few members who have gone home to their reward and im sure they would rather be with the LORD then with us although we often wish Ih&y w8r8 Still here will us. During this year i had the privilege to show to the thurth some films that for me wer& old but to the church here were quile new . Over Ihree Sundays we showed A distanl Thunder. a thief in the night and ona mor8 which slips try mind for the momenl Lxrt each brought a challenge to the church and an awakening thinng of what is to come. God has promised to come again and receive to himself his bride lch is us thè chUrCh.r Sunday services are well attended and the challenge of the gospel goes out with a clear call. Christ says that today is the day of salvation we may not have tomorrow so we should serLe the day and act when the HOLY SPIRIT moves upon our lives. In February we once again had our gift day whore tha church would bring Iheir best gfft to God Once again wa wero ablo to raise over £10.(KK) which may nol sound a bt but when you take into consid8ration th8 size of our congregation its a wonderful amount. Many thanks to all that where able to give and to those who were not able why don't you trust God and se6 what he will do for you as you put him to the test.our God is laithful and rf where fatthful to him h& will be to us even rf were not faithful to him God is still latthlul for he cannot change. During this year the word of God has been pr8ach8d as the word of GCKI written without missing bits out from the Old testamenl to Ihe New. Feeding program Again our numbers have increase and were serving over 600 meds a week little did we know that wh8n God called us to do this work we would louch the Irves of so many. as i look in our books we have server over 200 individuals with food that we hav& cooked. From little acorns mighty oak lo spring and i rememb8r when th8 Lord askgj me to start this work all tha way back in the month of February in 2020. Litle did we redise jusi what God had in store lor us and wtthout the help of our volunteers we would be unable to complete the task so thank you all our many volunteers. Tuesday Lunch Once agan our kitchen has been a blur on a Tuesday after the feeding program we set forth we the luncheon. v&S who often are disposed are made wdcoma at this meal as we ail sit down to eat a meal as so many would have dona many years ago around a table passir)g up and down the table various pots of food all lalorKJ a turn to take out before passing on the the nexl a skill that for many homes has long been forgotten. Afler food a chat and the a time of prayer when individuals can bring thr wuests to God. Hearing the answers to prayers is always a bl&ssings if your let without something to do on a Tuesday lunch why not join us. Poppy Club This is a group Ihat our sister Sharon has started inviting ttople to coma to the church on the 2 and 4 friday of the month and do some crafts what they do is mind blowing. They decided to sit in the p0h of the church and make pOpreS to make a carpet of poppies that could be used at our remembrance seNice. This was draped on lh& wall at the entrance to the church which is a sight to behold. Thank you all you that made a ppoy for this carpet this will be remember8d for a long tlmé.

Year ènding 31 st Dècember 2023 I have reported to the tnBtees of the Acocks Greon Baptist chUh after examining the y&2r end accounts of December 2019. I have look8d at th8 way they k88P th81r accounts arKI arn satisfied that Ihey a keeping good accounts. I havé suggested that they move their acu)unts onto a diff8ring platform so as to make their book keeping a lot easier this they have done. l am Satisfied that their accounts do not need to be audited under Part 16 of the 2006 act but only need a independent examination.
