REpowf FOR 2(r22 A lotter from the Ministsr How long ago 2020 seems but yet we are still seeing the lall out from th8 pandemic still today we liva with the possibility Ihat this might just happen again. Here in the church we're back in the flow of thing doing the tasks that many don't see bul are imFQrtant for the work of the church. Ive often sad it would be interesting to hav8 a docu velw of the work that a minister in the Baptist church gets up to as im sure many don't know. Some one onc& said to me thèy would like to be a minister as thèy only hav8 to work one day a week how wrong th8y ar8 th8r8 di)esn'l seern to be enough hours in th8 days for me to be able to do the work i need to do, But God knows, This year seems to have ￿en as busy as evor and Iva been praying for extra bodies lo help with the work. I know in time God will answ￿ my prayers but in the rnean while i continue to press on. This Year once again we have lost members but we hava gained p8opl8 so our nurnbers have still stayed about thè same so we have to tum people who attend to members this is not always easy for various raasons. This year we have had a wsit from Emmanuel from Kenya and he was cha118ng8d by the work that W8 do and how God is blessing us. His ministry was of an evangelistic type and as we had hand billed tho area i was ancouraged to se8 strang8rs in our rneetings God did bless and we trusl that wpl8s Iiv8S W8r8 chailenged and changed by tha preaching of G%pel. Feedlng Program During this year we have seen how a voice from God can change the lives of Many people. Little did we know that when we Started this program our reach would be over aboLrt 4 ssuare miles frorn the church in both directions. We are now taking referrds the council from people who are Struggling to feed themselves. Ovor this y8ar have seen limle help given to us by the council to help with the buying of the food and for the utilities to cook it. Many are the tim8s when we feel that we will not be able to ftjlfil our obligations but by th8 Grac8 of God we do and we aro always astoundad. Thanks are given to all those who offer their help in the food program voluntears all but worth thoir weight in Gdd and we say thanks. Tuesday Lunch Our numbers haveny yot reached tho numbers of what they were befo￿ covid but W8 are seeing a steady trickle of people coming in to have a hot ccxiked meal which is two courses with a lot of bantor between. Time is always given at the end of our session for prayer and we are seeing answers to prayers every week. We have a cross s￿tIOn ol people come all with varying abiliti8S but is great to see just how people get on with each other. Sunday service Pastor is always up ihe front leading our seNice and what a wonderful time we have. Our seNices are streamed just as they were when we were in covid lockdown tirnes so that people who have to work or who are ill at home can still enjoy Ihe seNice. Much lime and offort is given so that the seryice seems to be seamless, From Pastor up the front to to Ihe tech team at the back all saam to enjoy the rneotings. The worship Ihe message and even out time of giving is a time for rejoicing. No one In Ihe service is ignored frDm the youngest to the oldest all have something that will b18SS them.
