TO: The Trustees of The London AcCOrd￿n Orchestra.
From: Anthony Rumsey
Date: March 17 2025
You request8d me to cary out an independent examination of the accounts of the London
Accordion Orchestra for the year ended 31 1)ecember 2023, in acCOrdar￿ with th8 requirements
of the Charity Commission of England and Wales.
As the charity trustees you are responsi￿8 for the weparation of the accounts in accordance With
The Charrties Act 2011.
Aithough not required by the legislation, the accounts were prepared on an accruals basis, whlch I
agree does give a more complete picture of the state of affairs of the orchestra.
I conducted my examination in accordance with the guidance benchmarks published by the
Commission, and I can confim that in my opinion the accounts and accounting practices
8ssentially confonn with the Commission'5 Statement of Recommended Practice. and
consequently the Chartti8s Act 2011.
There were no items ari￿ng during my examination requiring reporting to the trustees.
Yours sln¢erely
