International<br>events like these are developing new ways of<br>working and growing partnerships for the<br>future. There was a successful course writers’<br>training program that took place during the<br>year and the Increase Equippers have been<br>involved in providing training and processes to<br>assure quality of courses. There have been no<br>major gatherings in 2023.|

|Review of the charity’s<br>financial position at the end<br>of the period|Para 1.21|The total income for the year was £61k with<br>key donations coming from HMK<br>£22.9k(36%),and various general private<br>individual donors £28.3k(44%). The<br>widespread general donor support of 44% has<br>been positive and encouraging for our<br>operations.<br>The total funds at year end stood at £29,353<br>of which £3,539 were restricted funds.<br>We are not aware of any post year end events<br>or liabilities which would materially impact the<br>financial strength of ITUK.|

Reserves<br>are held so that, should funds to operate<br>reach a critical level, the charity can continue<br>to operate whilst the situation is rectified and<br>new funds are raised.<br>Going forward for 2024, the trustees have<br>reviewed and discussed to maintain nine<br>months of fixed expenditure in reserves. The<br>fixed expenditure is defined as committed<br>costs such as salaries, rent, stationeries and<br>general overheads which remain fixed<br>regardless of the level of activities as defined<br>in our management account reports.<br>This improves clarity and provides more<br>certainty to financial management planning.|

|Other||Like many others, the charity has been<br>experiencing increasing difficulty in<br>transferring funds to some parts of the world,<br>and has needed to use methods other than<br>bank transfers more frequently. The trustees<br>have written detailed guidelines on cash<br>carriage, in line with Charity Commission<br>guidance, should this ever be necessary.<br>Although Increase Trust UK<br>(ITUK) does not work directly with children<br>and adults at risk, it is committed to<br>safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the<br>communities it supports and is taking<br>reasonable steps to ensure the safety and<br>protection of those who come into contact with<br>ITUK. Accordingly, all the trustees have<br>undertaken a safeguarding Training course<br>conducted by NSPCC in 2023.|

In February 2021 Graham Aylett, husband of Nicola Aylett, a trustee of ITUK, became CEO of Increase Association. Graham attends board meetings in an advisory capacity but is not a trustee and does not have a vote. 

The board has discussed the potential for conflicts of interest and this discussion has been minuted. The trustees were fully satisfieq that any conflict can being managed adequately by the current Conflicts of Interest policy and procedures. All potential conflicts of interest are declared and minuted at the beginning of every board meeting.

registered charity 1158018 (England & Wales). for the year ended 31
December 2023
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the Increase Trust
UK (ITUK) for the year ended 31 December 2023
Responsibilities and basis of this report
As the charity trustees of ITUK you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (the Act).
-1 report in respect of my examination of ITUK'S accounts, carried out under
section 145 of the 2011 Act. In carying out my examination I have followed all
the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145 (5)
(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come
to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe
that in any material respect-
1. Accounting records were not kept in respect of ITUK as required by section
130 of the Act
2. The accounts do not accord with those records
I have no concems and have come across no other matters in connection with
the examination to which attention should be drawn in this ￿pOrt in order to
enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached
