Funding for the conference came<br>from a successful round of grant applications<br>to charitable trusts. ITUK administered these<br>to fund conference costs and airfares for some<br>participants, along with a pre-conference<br>leaders’ day.<br>Other activities funded include a four-day<br>gathering of the Increase committee,<br>executive and 16 Equippers in Turkey and a<br>consultation and Course Writers workshop in<br>Central Asia. The Increase General Secretary<br>made visits to Indonesia and Malaysia to<br>observe the working context of TEE<br>participants and to prepare for the<br>international conference with the Increase<br>office staff.|

## **Financial Review**

Trusts<br>contributed 55%, and general donors 8%. The<br>increase in funding was attributed to deferral<br>of regular activities that resumed after the<br>pandemic, particularly the major conference<br>held in Malaysia.|

In February 2021 Graham Aylett, husband of Nicola Aylett, a trustee of ITUK, became General Secretary of Increase Association. Graham attends board meetings in an advisory capacity but is not a trustee and does not have a vote. 

The board has discussed the potential for conflicts of interest and this discussion has been minuted. The trustees were fully satisfied that any conflict can being managed adequately by the current Conflicts of Interest policy and procedures. All potential conflicts of interest are declared and minuted at the beginning of every board meeting.

As the charity trustees of ITUK you afe responsible for the preparatlon of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (the Act).
I report in respect of my examination of ITUK'S accounts, carried out under
Section 145 of the 2011 Act. In carying out my examination I have followed all
the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145 (5)
{b) of the Act.
