## **FINANCE**
The Community Association has been inactive now since early 2020. Due to Covid-19 lockdowns, furloughs and working from home etc this has taken far longer than any of the Trustees expected. The invoice from the solicitor who acted on our behalf to get us through the surrender of the lease was received in October 2021.
The Trustees met in November 2021 to decide on how to distribute the remainder of the funds. The criteria we set on the donations was that they should benefit local charities and organisations rather than mainstream national ones. This was so our local residents who over many years had supported the Community Association would get something back from us.
We hoped that everything would be finalised by the end of this year but unfortunately we still have one donation that was made but had not been cashed by 31[st] December so there will be need to be one final set of accounts before final dissolution of the Community Association can take place.
_We have greatly appreciated the support of our dedicated group of volunteer helpers and thank them for all their help over the years._
