The main activities undertaken during Ihe year to further the charity's purpose for the public benefit. The Advancement ol Christian Faith The Trustees ol the Charity having due regard lor the reporting ol public benefit provided by the Charity in line with the Charities Act 2011, are pleased to report that the church has continued ils involvement with community focused events and proje¢ls providing direct benefit lor the public in IheUK. Places ol Worship The Charity has continued ils commitment to the promotion ol the Christian Faith by renting on a weekly basis a place at Employment Academy - First Flor, 1-4 Bereslord Square, Woolwich, London, SE18 6BB to provide the public with the ongoing opportunity to attend Church setvices enabling them to grow and develop in the Christian faith, teachings and Principles. The worship activities make provision lor Christian Worship SeNices, lea¢hing sessions, discipleship classes and prayer meetings throughout the week. The Church also operales weekly meetings in dillerenl local locations lor our discipleship classes a pra¢lical strategy lor using informal settings to advance Christianity in our communities. Evangelism Evangelism is a core value and outreach strategy of our Church to reach out to communities. We distribute Christian Tracts in the community, speak to people in parks and public places about the Christian faith, provide light refreshments in parks as we look to engage the community to drive lOnard the Christian faith. We also collaborate with local churches lo promote pi¢ni¢s and summer family lun days where food and drinks are provided, and local Mayors join us as we promote Christianity in the community. To advance the Christian Religion lor the benefit ol the public through the holding ol prayer meetings, le¢lures, publi¢ ¢elebralion ol reli gious festivals, producing and distributing literature on the Christian Faith lo enlighten others about Christian Religion. The significant charitable activities underlaken in the year. The Principal Activities ol the Charity are Christian worship and involvement ol various ministries and ministers ol Religion in propagating Ihe Chrisli an Tenets ol faith to members land non members) who seek to develop an undersianding ol the Gospel through the various meetings provided by the Chur¢h. There is an extension ol the Christian Faith Ihrough other dire¢l Community Oulrea¢h programmes. Structure, governance and management of the charity The npthods used to recruit and appoinl new charity trustees. In making the appointments, the Charitys governing document is Checked to ensure that the new trustees are appointed in a proper and legal way. Preferred candidates, with the required expertise and skill set, are identified and invited to be the first charity Irustees. (Subject to formal vetting and approval by the lull trustee board.) Potential trustees are vetted. Checks are carried out to ascertain candidates have not been disqualified from acting as Iruslees, and candidates are asked lo ¢onlirm in writing that this is the case. Candidates are asked to consider and declare any existing or polenlial Conflicts ol interest. Appropriate checks from the Disclosure and Barring Service are conducled. In the light ol the checks and declarations, the trustees decide to go ahead and lormalise the appointment ol new trustees. Trustees meel and make a de¢ision on the appointment ol each new Trustee and the ollice they hold. All new Iruslees are given a copy ol the Charity's governing document and all relevant documents and guides from the Charity Commission. All new Iruslees are introduced to the church and the ollice they hold.
