|---|---|---|
Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 |
755 food parcels were distributed in this financial year. Demand for food parcels has reduced slightly compared with last year despite the significant increase in the cost of living. The number of Ukrainian clients has virtually dried up as those living in our catchment area have got jobs. The foodbank worked closely with several local agencies, schools, medical centres, and Village Agent to ensure that local people in need could obtain food parcels in emergencies. Talks to schools and local voluntary organisations about the work of the foodbank were undertaken. |
