The Objects of the Church are, for the public
benefft:
1. To worship God and to advance the
Christian faith in accordance with the
statement of Beliefs in such ways and in such
parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the
Council from lime to time may think fit; and
2. To relieve sickness and financial hardship
and to promote and preserne good health by
the provision of funds, goods or services of any
kind, inClud￿g through the provision of
counselling and support in such parts of the
United Kingdom or the worfd as the Council
from time to time may think fit.

These objects are achieved by:
Holding public seNices of worship on Sundays
to which members of the public have an open
invilation to attend. Often, at the end of the
services, prayer or counselling is a￿ailable to
those who would like it.
During the Sunday moming seNice separate
activities are held for children and young
people up to Ihe age of 16 which provide
Christian leaching appropriate to their age.
Services of worship are often livestreamed and
posted on our publidy accessible YouTube
channel.
Mid-week clubs were held on Monday,
Wednesday & Thursday for children and young
people. These activrties are open any who are
of the appropriate age. A Toddlers group is
held on a Thursday moming for children with
an adult famity member or carer. This is led by
members of the staff team and is open to
anyone with a young child.
There are a number of small groups that meet
regularfy to study the Bible together and to
encoura
e one another in the Chrislian faith.

We sought to offer practical, emtional and
spiritual support to anyone. regardless of
affiliation to church. who needed it.
At activities such as the café and Toddlers,
conversational support has been provided
for a rnnge of needs.
Donations to the various mission and
development organisations we support
were maintained throughout the period.

A cafe is held every Monday moming with free
refreshments. Adults who have left a child at
the local primary school come for a coffee
before returning home and later in the moming
around 20 older adults from the local
communty regularfy attend.
The Church supports a number of Christian
mission agencies and missionaries, and also
supports relief agencies such as the charities
Stsnd by Me and Tear Fund.
An outdoor carol servic£ was held with the
other churches of the village to which other
members of the community came.

report to the trustees on my examination of the financial statements of Waverton Evangelical Fellowship - CIO (Ihe charrty.) for the
year ended 31 March 2024.
Responsibilities and As the trustees of the company (and also its directors for the purposes of company law) you are
basis of report responsible for the preparation of the financial ststements in accordan￿ with the requirements of the
ComDanies Act 2006 (Yhe 2006 Act,).
Having satisfied myself that the accounts of the company are not required to be audited under Part 16 of
the 2006 Act and are eligible for independent examination, I report in respect of my examination of the
CharIt￿S accounts as carried out under section 145 of the Charities Ad 2011 {Ihe 2011 Act,). In carrying
out my examination I have followed the Directions given by the Charity Commission under section
145(5){b) of the 2011 Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confimi that no matters have come to my attention in connection
examinerfs statement with the examination giving me cause to believe:
accounting records were not kept in respect of the Charty as required by section 386 of the
2006 Act., or
the financial ststements do not accord with those records. or
the financial statements do not comply with the accounting requirements of section 396 of
the 2006 Act other than any requirement that the accounts give a Irue and fairf view which is
not a matter considered as part of an independent examination" or
the financial ststements have not been prepared in accordance with the methods and
principles of the Statement of Recommended Practice for accounting and reporting by
charities applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial
Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102).
I have no concems and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in
this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
