|||||Lane, Waverton.|||
|||||This cost reduced our free cash from|||
|||||R45,000to cR33,000at the time ofthe|||
|||||general church meeting was held on 29|||
|||||March 2023.At that meeting<br>itwas not|||
|||||possible to vote through a budget forthe|||
|||||year 23/24 because<br>it would have resulted||in|
|||||the church exhausting<br>its liquid assets by|the||
|||||end ofthe financial year 23/24. Itwas|||
|||||agreed that the trustees would return tothe|||
|||||church atthe June AGM with a resolution|to||

|||||Following<br>much prayer and|||

|||||pastor ofthe church offered totake voluntary|||
|||||redundancy.<br>Aperiod ofdiscussion<br>and|||
|||||consultation<br>ensued and appropriate<br>terms|||
|||||were agreed. This resulted<br>in a reduction|of||
|||||annual expenditure<br>by the church which,|in||
|||||addition to increased<br>giving, amounted<br>to|||
|||||cf'.44,000rebalancing<br>ofincome over|||

|||||balance will sit at cR14,000.Based on our|||
|||||budgeted<br>income and expenditure<br>between|||
|||||now and the financial year end this balance|||
|||||should increase to cR18,000, barring any|||
|||||unforeseen<br>events.|||
|||||In setting the 2024/5 budget, the|||
|||||church<br>will be proceeding<br>without the|||
|||||appointment<br>ofa new pastor, which means|||
|||||that these employment<br>costs will be|||
|||||excluded. Thus, barring unforeseen<br>events,|||
|||||the churches finances<br>will run in su<br>lus for|||

|the next Snancial year. In addition,<br>it isthe|
|---|
|intention ofthe trustees to rent the|
|Ravenscar property when<br>it becomes|
|available,<br>and no later than April 2024. This|
|would<br>likely generate<br>income ofcR15,000|

|Additionally,<br>,REFhas now received|
|confirmation<br>that it isacobeneficiary ofa|

|Over the next 12months,<br>given a|
