The Pre School term runs parallel to the sch¢Jol tslendar. Sesslons are Monday¥ Tue5d8ys, Wednesthvs
and Frlday5 9am- 3:30pm. Thursdays 9am .Ipm with FO￿$t School runnlng from u)m- 3'.30pm,
Children on go home at 12 noon. Lunch at Pre School Is fn)m 12 noon ￿ntil Ipm, and thlldien can bring
a packed lunch or purchase a hot meal for an extra cost {currently at £2.40). Durtng this financial year.

Fjnanclal Matters
Details of all income and eX￿(￿lit￿re are outliiied in the attached financlal statements.
At the ené of this financial year, the fee charged perhour was £4.60 for chlldren under 3 and £4.00 for
those over 3, thls Is for the chlldren that do not quaHfy for the 15130 E8rly Year5 Fundin8. Devon Countv
Council pèy5 the Pre khool £4.98 per hour fpr children under 3 attd £4.16 per hour for children over 3
for funded hours.

The purFM)se of the building when btsllt wa5 for the Ltse of a Pre School Jnd as such thè buildlng can onlv
be used for this purpose.
The building is prOV￿ed rent free to the Po School and Land rent 15 paid to Devon County Countll of
£750 perannum.
Apart fromi fees and sUPlYOrtfrom the local Community, we supplement our income with fundraising
events organis¢d tsythe parents. These include, but are not limlted tQ 3n aurtion of Promlses, pamper
evenin& raffles, Chrlstmas card maknFW Easter treasure htsnt
Due to the COVID19 pandemic n7any of the activities We￿ not possible thnd dld not take
place. All fundrdl%ing this financlal year have been external events and complied with Government
re8ulations.

As a charltable body, we do not aim to accumulate capttsl. Any extra funds are ptrt strai8ht back into the
Pre School and use to rnaint4ln the fa¢41ities to a high working standard, to replace toys and equipment
and to ensure that the employed staff ara properly remunerateil and tralned, whilst always reinainin8
aware of the need to keep the costs to parent5 and potential parents at an affordable level. However, It
was highlighted 2019 that a £Dntingency fund is needed for ernergencles, such os redundancies. The
reseNe5 remain in a separate account and do not accumulate extra funds (other than interestl.
