Althou8h Covid-19 has caused untold turmoil, it ha5 woken society land fundersl up to the issues lacin8 youn8 people. The period of mlssed educatlon and development because of Covid 19 has Impacted our abillty to recruit young people to our pro8rammes, We anticlpated that there would be an increase in i55ue5 such as anxiety, InC￿3$e the 8ap between have and have nots, and reduce emploYab￿litY/eMP1oYrnent options. Element already had strate8ic plan5 to offer more employability support for young people which continues to form part of our strate8ic plan. We learned from the lockdowns that youn8 people had lost faith sn virtual sessions and were ready for face-to- face activity a8aln with school takin8 precedent. We therefore sou8ht to deliver pro8ramme5 that helped wlth addre5$5n8 anxlety and ernployabllltv. We were able to attract a number of volunteers from the unlversltles in SheffSeld. principally èxaminln8 our flnancS4l procedure5 rnalnly for thelr personal dèvelopment In support of the above employability t#r8et.
