Although RED-AID shares the same postal address it is to be noted that
REDWOOD SCHOOL and RED-AID (charity no 1157908) are two
organisations independent of each other and have no control or
govemance upon each other.

In planning our activities, the Trustees have given careful consideration
to the Charty Commission's general guidance on public benefit and in
particular to its supplementary public benefit guidance.

The Board will consider applications requesting assistance l fvnding
taking into account each individual application's compliance with our
constitution objects; cost of application against benefit to recipient and
the ability to fund the application in full or part. In detemiining the
suitabilty of an applicalion consideration will aSso be given to the
possibility of applying to other Charities to fully or part fund the request or
for it to be looked at as a project for targeted fundraising activities. We
will assess each individual request so that every application is treated
equally, fairly and consistently to ensure the most appropriate use of the
charity's funds in accordance with our own constitution and the best
practice guidance of the Charity Commlssion.

The committee has recently met and recruited new trustees and will be
spending the summer of 2025 relaunching the charity with advertising
and a stronger social media presence

Halloween I valentines discos - These have been well received over the
years we have been organising them and provide parents I carers with a
safe environment to socialise with others in a similar situation. This also
provides support and reduces isolation which is often felt by these
families.
The events above have been successful in previous years and the
trustees will be working towards organising these for the next academic
year.
