Section D Achievements and performance
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year |
Work is continuing to connect further the serving members with the Association. This has become tangible through the opportunity of the Chairman becoming the Veteran Representative on the 80/100thAnniversary Committee. Where work is progressing to promote a number of activities proposed for next year’s celebration that could see serving members of the Corps and Veterans taking part in joint activities. We have started to review our Corporate Communication Strategy, to update all our media polices in line with current best practice. We intend to publish our review ahead of the 2022 AGM. Our thanks to those members who volunteer at Branch and National level. Having a pool of volunteers is critical to the Association’s sustainability, and we still are having difficulty getting the right people with the right skills stepping forward. If you would like to volunteer at National level, please get in touch with a member of the NM. All nominations, should reach the Nat Sec by 31 May each year so that due-diligence process in accordance with the guidelines of the Charity Commission can be applied.
