**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN IN SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES IN EAST AFRICA, IN PARTICULAR IN TANZANIA, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FUNDING TO BUILD NEW SCHOOLS, DEVELOP EXISTING SCHOOLS, FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR INDIVIDUALS TO ACCESS OR CONTINUE WITH THEIR EDUCATION AND THROUGH SUCH OTHER SUPPORT AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION DEEM APPROPRIATE.

**Activities:** ACE works in East Africa, in particular, in Tanzania and also in Kenya.  It supports the development of community schools in very disadvantaged areas providing the opportunity for children to attend school where they would otherwise be unlikely to do so.  It also supports individual young people who are orphaned or from very impoverished circumstances to continue their education.
